"This painting was started after Niko and I spent a week living out of a van on Maui. It was an incredible experience and made me fall in love with the islands again after living here for years now. My favorite was the road to Hana, the endless magical secret places, and the jungles that always smelled like guava. This painting isn't any one place, but the culmination of all of my favorite places."
